Magnetoencephalography, Cincinnati Children%26;s Hospital Medical Center,
University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
We are seeking scientists at the associate professor level for research
in multimodal functional brain imaging using MEG/EEG, fMRI, and cortical
electrophysiology. The research will be interdisciplinary and will
involve collaborations within the Center and with researchers in the
departments of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Audiology,
Psychiatry, Neurorehabilitation, Psychology and other neuroscience
disciplines. The main clinical investigations of the Center are epilepsy
and presurgical functional localization. The main research topics of the
Center are cortical functional organization and plasticity, development
of the auditory system in normal and deaf subjects, language
development, recovery after head trauma, migraine, memory, and
decision-making processes. The MEG-Lab will be equipped with
high-density whole-head MEG-system with 275 channels and 128
channels EEG-system and has access to a 3T-fMRI for research.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in any of the following areas:
biomedical engineering, physiology, experimental/cognitive psychology,
neuroscience, audiology, computer science, physics, MEG, or other
applicable disciplines. Candidates should have familiarity with
computational and statistical methods for neuroimaging (e.g. Curry,
